About this position
Politecnico di Milano’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in structural digital twins.
You will develop hybrid physics-and-data models for monitoring large infrastructure, working with industrial partners in Lombardy. Teaching support for MSc courses is expected at a modest level.
Milan is a major European hub for engineering research and design.
Requirements
PhD in civil or mechanical engineering. Experience with FEM, structural health monitoring, or scientific Python. Italian is helpful for teaching but not required.
