Fluid Dynamics research spans turbulence, multiphase flows, turbomachinery, aeroacoustics and emerging aircraft technologies, with strong industry and research organisation links.

About the research project

Explore future aircraft concepts for civil and defence applications, combining conceptual design, multidisciplinary optimization and high-fidelity aerodynamic analysis—including unconventional configurations, electric/hydrogen fuel integration, emerging technologies and novel propulsion. Collaborate with Swedish aerospace researchers and industrial partners.

Contract terms

Temporary full-time employment for two years with possibility of one-year extension. Physical presence required; valid residence permit by start date.

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Doctoral degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, fluid dynamics or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated independent research and peer-reviewed publications
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Collaborative, scientifically creative mindset; ability to work across disciplines and with industrial partners

Strengthening
