Where listings come from, and what we do — and do not — claim about them.
ResearchJobsEurope only publishes vacancies that point to an exact official source page — preferably the employer’s own university or institute vacancy URL. We do not invent roles, supervisors, salaries, or deadlines. Application links must open that exact vacancy page — not a generic careers landing page, and not a commercial job board.
What we accept as sources
- University and research-institute vacancy pages (exact job URL)
- EURAXESS exact job URLs (EU-run research careers portal)
- Lab and doctoral-network announcements with a stable institutional permalink
What we do not use as the official source
- Commercial aggregators (for example Academic Positions, jobs.ac.uk, Nature Careers, Times Higher Education jobs)
- Generic careers hubs without a specific vacancy id or path
- Social posts or unofficial reposts without an institutional URL
Accuracy
Deadlines and funding details can change after we list a role. Treat the employer page as authoritative. If you spot an error or a closed post, please tell us.
