What RJE is for
ResearchJobsEurope is a curated catalogue of European research vacancies with links back to official institutional pages. We help you discover and compare openings; we are not the employer, and we do not accept applications on universities’ behalf.
What we require before a job can go live
Listings move through discovery, extraction, validation, and human review. Publishable rows need an exact vacancy URL on an allowed institutional source, a coherent role type, a country, a deadline when the source provides one, and a vacancy body that is readable—not mashed page chrome or a JavaScript shell.
- Prefer the official job-ad container over whole-page scrapes.
- Reject internal-only posts, template placeholders, and teaching-only curriculum leads when they are not research vacancies.
- Never invent salary, email, supervisor, or deadline fields.
What we still expect from you
Always open the source URL, confirm the deadline and eligibility, and apply on the employer’s system. If something looks wrong on RJE, treat the employer page as correct and tell us—the catalogue improves when mismatches are reported.
