Reference number: REF 2026-0337.

About us

Conducted at the Machine Learning and Decision Making Lab (Data Science and AI), in collaboration with Automatic Control (Electrical Engineering) and Mathematical Optimization (Mathematical Sciences).

About the research project

Develop novel AI methods (reinforcement learning, deep learning, generative AI) for coordinating EV fleets during large-scale emergency evacuations under energy and infrastructure constraints, evaluated against mathematical optimization strategies.

What you will do

  • Propose, develop and evaluate advanced ML models including RL for energy-aware EV fleet coordination
  • Publish in leading venues
  • Contribute to supervision of master’s and PhD students
