Tenure-track Faculty Position in Observational Massive Star and Compact Object Binary Science

The Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy (API) of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is seeking to hire an assistant professor in high-energy astrophysics. We especially welcome applications from experts in multi-wavelength and time-domain observational astronomy that connects to new and future facilities such as SKA, CTA, NewAthena, and ELT. The candidate will lead a research program focused on the roles of binary star systems with massive stars, stellar-mass black holes and neutron stars, as laboratories for binary evolution, extreme gravity, accretion, particle acceleration and feedback.
