If you are motivated to guide innovation by developing new biobased processes able to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future, this is the perfect position for you.
Are you passionate about understanding how digital innovations are scaled up in a responsible way? Do you want to contribute to better understanding how these innovations become applied in mental healthcare? Then this opportunity at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development is for you.
Are you an enthusiastic young scientist with a Master's degree in a neuroscience-related field? And would you like to figure out how plasticity at multiple synapses is coordinated within dendrites? Then you have a part to play as a PhD candidate in our research team. Put your ideas to the test at our green campus and push your boundaries in an internationally friendly environment.
Are you passionate about strengthening digital privacy and helping to shape trustworthy online technologies? Join the European REAL-PETS project and contribute to cutting-edge research on privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and privacy-preserving digital identity solutions. Working with researchers and industry partners across Europe, you will help improve both the technical effectiveness and real-world usability of privacy technologies, empowering citizens with transparent and trustworthy privacy protections.
MAX IV is looking for a Postdoc experienced in electrochemistry research. The focus will be to document experimental designs and procedures that give reliable and reproducible results, transferrable between research facilities in Europe. Two to three reaction cells based on the most promising designs will be developed and tested at major European synchrotrons. All results (CAD models, performance data, and procedures) will be published in an open data base for the benefit of the European research community.
Can a battery cathode be made from phosphorus recovered from municipal wastewater? Join us at Chalmers University of Technology to investigate how recovered phosphorus can be converted into battery-grade lithium iron phosphate (LFP), working hands-on along the entire chain from waste-derived powder to tested battery cells.
This doctoral position is part of REGULAIRE, which is a MSCA doctoral pan-European network that studies how regulation can learn and adapt in situations where technologies, risks, and expectations change quickly. The network will train fifteen fellows to examine this learning process from different angles. They will look at how authorities detect early signals, design and test interventions, evaluate what works, and share findings across organisations.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to play a key role in delivering an exciting investment project (IrrEO) that will develop satellite-based irrigation mapping tools for governments and development actors in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

As a PhD student, you will work on a project focused on developing in-situ optical sensing for polymer-based electronics: using light to non-invasively inspect, understand, and improve their stability and performance, with the aim to develop energy-efficient optoelectronic devices. You’ll select and design conductive polymers, fabricate electronics devices, then build in-situ UV-Vis/Raman/surface enhanced Raman spectroscopies platform to reveal hidden processes such as interfacial charge transfer, redox switching, doping and dedoping, morphology dynamics, and local electric field effects. You’
What could reparations for colonialism look like? As a PhD candidate, you will explore this urgent question, using participatory and creative research methods to foreground the experiences and expectations of Indo and Indonesian communities affected by colonialism.
